The Username Management modal allows the SuperCRM administrator to view and update a persons username details. The Username button will display for any people that have login access to Sporty.
This feature makes it easier for the SuperCRM admin to help their members when details are forgotten. The SuperCRM admin is able to update a user's username, reset their password, email a new verification email, or delete the username link from the person record so accounts can be merged.
The SuperCRM admin can view the user's username, user account email, the date they signed up, the date they last logged in and whether their email has been verified.

Only users with a username will display this feature in the SuperCRM. If the feature does not appear for the user, it means that they have no username connected to their person record.
Any changes that are made will leave an audit trail against the specific person which are located under the Audit tab of the persons record. The audit will not show the details of the change, however it will show who changed the persons username details and when.
The SuperCRM administrator is able to view details as per the hierarchy:
- Club/School: Username of the person only associated to the club/school.
- RSO eg. Centre/Association: Usernames of the person from all clubs/schools associated to that RSO.
- National body: Usernames of the person from all clubs/schools from all centres/associations.
How to use the Username Management feature
1. Locate the person you require in your SuperCRM and click into their record to view their profile.
2. On the Profile tab, click Username.
3. The Username Management modal will pop-up displaying the person's user details.
From here, you can do a further three different actions;
a) Email
b) Edit
c) Delete
a) Email
Resend user details and a new account verification link to the person by clicking the mail button.
Once the email has been sent, you will see confirmation appear on screen. Click Ok to close the pop-up.
The person will receive an email which provides their username and email address associated with their username.
b) Edit
If you are required to edit the username, associated email address, or reset a users password, click the Edit pencil.
Update the details, then click Save. Once you have updated the users details.
Any changes made will be logged & viewable in the profile Audit tab. The admin who made the change will be logged, what they changed, and when the modification was made. For security purposes, the values they changed To/From will be hidden.
c) Delete
This can be done by clicking the Red Trash Can button. This is an action that you cannot undo, so please treat this with care. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to delete the user.
You will be be asked to confirm that you definitely do want to delete the user.
How to merge person accounts with different usernames
Sporty blocks people records being merged if they have differing usernames, to complete the merge you will need to first delete a username from one of the accounts.
Review the 2 person accounts and decide which account to remove, this can be based on last login date, sign up date, which person record has the best data.
Open the person account you choose to delete and click username, then click the delete button, confirm to delete.
The accounts are now able to be merged in the Registrations, Duplicates tab.
