Naming a Phase and modifying Phase settings
1. A new SKED competition will automatically create it's first phase called "Phase 1". When creating an additional phase within a competition, the phase name is a required field. In both cases, the phase name can be modified at any stage. Click the settings cog next to the phase you wish to modify
2. Amend the Phase Name, for example Grading, in the text box as required
3.Modify the settings for each grade if these differ from your default settings. This can be done using Bulk Edit for grades sharing the same settings Refer to Bulk editing phase settings
4. Click Save.
Adding game dates to be used in a draw
1. Click the settings cog next to the phase you are working on.
2. Click the dates hyperlink for each grade as required or use Bulk Edit for grades sharing the same dates. Refer to Bulk editing phase settings
3. Select the dates that you wish to be used in the draw for the games for this grade(s). When more than one round is required on the same day, add the date multiple times for the required number of rounds on that day. Refer to Scheduling multiple rounds on the same date
Note: Sections within a grade can have different dates. Once fixtures for a section have been added to the calendar, modify the phase setting dates prior to creating the draw for another section.
4. Click Save.
5. Repeat steps 2 & 3 for each grade that will be included in this phase of your competition or use Bulk Edit for grades that share the same dates. Refer to Bulk editing phase settings
6. Click Save from the phase settings area when complete.
Deleting a Phase
1. Click the settings cog next to the phase you are working on.
2. Click Delete. A warning will be presented, select DELETE to confirm.
WARNING: There is no undo once a phase has been deleted, it cannot be restored.
