The Results Manager permission allows you to log in to the Draws & Results widget to submit fixture scores for your Club or School, or your competition.
An existing site administrator must invite someone to become a Results Manager, or update another existing users permissions. If you are an administrator with Webmaster permissions, you will also be able to check on the Results Manager permissions for yourself - this is done the same way that you would edit any other admin in your organisation. See the links below on how to invite an administrator or edit permissions for an existing administrator:
For more information on the different administrator permissions, please refer to this article.
There are several ways to enter a score for a fixture:
- By the competition organiser via SKED.
- By a team using the scoring app (if enabled).
- By the Results Manager logging into the Draws & Results widget.

How to login to the Draws & Results Widget
1. Click the Results Login button at the top of the Draws & Results widget - this will take you to the Sporty login page.
2. Enter your Sporty username and password then click Login.
Which fixtures can a Results Manager submit a score for?
A Results Manager can submit a score for any fixture associated to your organisation.
If you are associated to the organisation that owns the competition, you can submit a score for any fixture.
If you are associated to an organisation (such as a Club or School) that has entered a competition run by another organisation, you will only be able to submit a score for those fixtures that your organisation is directly involved with.
For example, you are a Club or School that has entered into a Netball Centre competition. You will only be able to enter results for your Club or School. If you are a Results Manager for the Netball Centre, you will be able to enter results for all fixtures for that Netball Centre.
Scoring a Fixture
1. Click Score Game underneath the fixture you would like to score - see here or here if you don't see this option for a fixture that you expect to be able to score.
2. The Match Centre modal will open and take you directly to the Score Game tab. From here you are able to:
- see the teams involved in the fixture.
- enter a score for the fixture.
- select a status for the fixture.
- the Status options are: Confirmed (this is selected by default), Win by default, and Lose by default
- Your competition organiser will have regulation regarding defaulted fixtures. Please refer to competition regulations on defaulted fixtures if you are submitting a fixture with a status of win/lose by default.
- the Status options are: Confirmed (this is selected by default), Win by default, and Lose by default
- leave a comment for the fixture.
Once you have entered these details, click Submit to finish.
The score and status that you submit will be submitted to the competition owner - the score will then be displayed on the widget. The comment will be visible to you, other admins from your organisation, and will be included on your team's Teamsheet for the fixture - it will not be visible to the other team.
How do I add set scores for the fixture?
Some sports (volleyball, badminton, etc.) have the option for you to submit the scores for each set in the fixture. The set scores will then be used to automatically populate the final score for the fixture.
These fixtures will have an additional Advanced button under the Score heading that you can click to open the Set Score modal.
In the Set Score modal, click + Add Set to add a new row for a set score. Enter the set score in the fields and then click the save (floppy disk) icon. Clicking + Add Set again will automatically save the score for the set you just scored.
You can also edit or delete a set's score by clicking the edit pencil or bin icon.
The number of sets won, total points won, and points earned for the fixture will be automatically calculated at the bottom of the modal as you submit set scores.
Once you have saved a score for each of the sets in the fixture, click Save to submit the score.
What happens if a Results Manager from the other team has already submitted a score?
You are still able to submit a score for a fixture if a Results Manager from the other team has already submitted a score. If the score matches what you submit, nothing will change after you submit your score. If the score you submit is different to the score submitted by the other team, the fixture will now show as disputed - this is indicated by the score for the fixture showing in red.
If a fixture has a disputed score, a Results Manager from either team's organisation is able to edit the score. If the newly submitted score now matches the score submitted by the other team, the fixture will no longer show as disputed - the score will change back to green and the score will no longer be editable. If the newly submitted score does not match the score submitted by the other team, the score will remain disputed.
Can I edit a score after submitting it?
If you are a Results Manager for a club/school, in most cases, you won't be able to edit the score for a fixture after you or another administrator from your organisation has submitted a score in the widget or app. See the question above for details about editing a disputed score.
If you submitted a score in error, please contact the competition organiser to make the required changes.
If you are a Results Manager for a competition owner's organisation, you are able to edit any score for a fixture that is a part of a competition owned by your organisation.
Why can't I score a fixture that I haven't submitted a score for?
The Score Game option will be removed from the fixture if a score has already been submitted for your fixture:
- in SKED by the competition owner
- in the widget by a Results Manager from the competition owner's organisation
- in the app by a scorer from your organisation
