Competitions can be created directly from TeamBuilder if your organisation does not have SKED access. For organisations without SKED access, you cannot generate draws, record results or assign Officials/Duty Teams.
To create a competition in TeamBuilder, you first must have created an individual registration form in Online Registrations. You will then create your competition against this form. Creating a competition creates a Team Entry Form.

Alternatively, if your organisation has SKED access, click here to see how to create a competition in SKED.
Creating a Competition
1. Click the blue + beside the form you want to create a competition for in TeamBuilder.
This will open the Add Competition modal.
2. Enter name of the competition you want to create.
3. Select the Player Form that you want to link to your competition. This form will be used when players are added to teams.
4. Select Create a new Team Entry Form, or Select existing Team Entry Form.
Tip: hover your mouse over either option to display text that describes the functionality of creating a new team entry form, or of selecting an existing team entry form.
- Create a new Team Entry Form is most commonly used.
- Select existing Team Entry Form copies an existing Team Entry Form for this new competition you are creating. For example, you may be creating a Finals Competition from the In-house Comp Team Entry form. The reason that you would do this is to include all teams that have already entered into the In-house Comp competition.
5. The name of Team Entry Form will automatically populate when the name of the competition is entered. This can be updated by clicking the text.
6. Select the Grades that will participate in the competition. Note, if the grades are not available to select, see this support article for steps on how to create additional grades.
7. Your organisations will be selected automatically.
8. Display Organisation Names checkbox is only applicable if your organisation has access to SKED.
9. Click Save & Continue when you have completed entering the competition details.
10. Select which folder you would like this competition to be filed into. All competitions will automatically be filed into the General folder unless a different folder is created and selected.
To create a new folder click the green + Create folder.
Competition folders are only relevant if your organisation has access to SKED.
Click Create Competition to add the new competition.
11. The individual registration form will now display a drop-down with the number of competitions created against it listed in the button. Click the button to expand the list of created competitions against this form.
