This feature lets you copy an existing competition while retaining the same grades, organisations, and team entry questions - eliminating the need to create a competition from scratch and manually select grades and organisations.
Once the competition is copied, you can:
- Modify any of the questions on the associated Team Entry Form, if needed.
- View the new Team Entry Form, which will automatically appear in TeamBuilder.
You might use this feature to:
- Copy a competition within the same season where new teams will register. For example, if you’re running a competition in Term 1 and want to use the same format for Term 4, but different teams will enter the new competition.
- Copy a competition within the same season where the same teams will play. For example, if you’re running a competition in Term 1 and want to use the same format for Term 2, with the same teams playing in both competitions.
- Copy a competition from one year to the next. For example, running the same format next season as this season. In this case, ensure the Player Registration Form (Superform) for the next season is applied before copying the competition.
