In SKED you can set per grade, the Team Entry and Player Entry Cut-off date, and you can also set a maximum number of team entries per grade. This can also be done via Grade Attributes in TeamBuilder, see this support article.
Team entry cut-off: If set, this is the final date that clubs and schools can create, modify, or delete teams in TeamBuilder.
Player entry cut-off: If set, this is the final date that clubs and schools can add, remove, or change the team that a player/coach/manager is assigned to in TeamBuilder.
Max Teams: If set, this limits the number of teams that can be entered for that grade.
Set Cut-off Dates
1. Click the Edit Pencil beside the competition name.
2. Then click Closing Dates.
Note: You must have a competition created before you are able to amend the close off dates.
This displays the Grade End Dates modal showing all grades included in the competition.
3. Click the calendar icon beside the date to open the date picker. Select the date, then click Save.
This is displayed in TeamBuilder as shown below. Clubs and schools that have this competition open to them will also view TeamBuilder as such.
Max teams
In the Grade End Dates modal that cut-off dates are entered into, you can also set a maximum number of team entries allowed per grade.
There is a space on the right in the empty field for the number of Max. Teams to be entered. Update this field to the specific value, then click Save.
The system sums all teams added across clubs & schools. In TeamBuilder, if a club/school attempts to create a team in a grade where the maximum number has been reached the below message will be displayed.
