This support article relates to the sport of netball only. Netball Centres are able to report on and invoice their clubs & schools for teams and individuals entered into their competition.
The Netball NZ and Zone fees will be set automatically, based on the Membership Category that you assigned the grade to. You are then able to add the Centre fee to calculate the amount to invoice.
For Netball Centres connected to MYOB or Xero, you able to generate invoices via SuperCRM.
Enter Entry Fees
Click the settings cog beside the Netball Registration form under the appropriate year.
This opens the Grade Attributes screen that displays all grades that are set up.
For further information on Grade Attributes, click here.
To enter fees, click the settings cog under the Entry Fee column for a specific grade. Please note that you will need to do this for each grade.
The Team Entry Fees modal will open displaying the Netball NZ and Zone fees automatically added for the Membership Category applied to the grade selected.
The total of either Team or Individual fees will automatically be calculated. Note, this will update in real time if a figure is inputted, or changed.
Enter the Centre fee for the grade to calculate the total amount charged per team or individual.
Click Save Changes.
Invoicing
Prior to invoicing, send out a reminder to all clubs and schools notifying them of the final date that they can add or remove players from teams. For help with setting cut-off dates, see this support article.
To generate an invoice, the Centre must first be connected with Xero or MYOB. Contact support@sportsground.com to request connection if not enabled for the Centre.
As a one time set up you will configure the default revenue account and tax rate in SuperCRM. To do this go into Dashboard > SuperCRM > Settings > click the Accounting tab > enter the default Xero or MYOB settings required. These will be the default revenue account and tax rate displayed in the Grade Attributes area. If your Centre has separate revenue accounts per grade these can be modified if you need to.

FAQs
Q What if the person has registered but is not in a team?
A If a player is not in a team, they will not be included in the count and therefore not included in the levy reporting.
Q We charge an individual player fee at our Centre. What happens if a player plays for multiple teams or at multiple Centres?
A Centre individual fees are always calculated as being required to be paid in full for every registered player that belongs in a team. So, if a player registers to two teams, the Centre individual fee will be charged twice for the player. No discounts will be applied on the report.
Q Are coaches or managers included in the calculations?
A Only people with a Role of Player will be included in the report as a person required to pay an individual levy or fee.
Q I have already raised a draft invoice into Xero/MYOB - can I do it again?
A There may be an occasion where you want to invoice for a grade at a different time to the other grades eg. junior grades first then senior grades at a later stage. You can “create draft invoice” and it will raise a new invoice in Xero/MYOB. When you create the draft invoice it will add all line items for all teams eg. both junior and senior teams. Simply delete the senior teams from the invoice, approve and send the invoice. Then when you are ready to invoice for the senior teams, click Create Draft Invoice again. This will generate a second invoice in Xero/MYOB. In this instance, delete the junior teams from the invoice as they have already been invoiced, approve and send the invoice.
Q Can I bulk invoice all organisations in SuperCRM?
A Due to the complexity and timing surrounding billing schools and clubs dependent on seasons and stages of competition, we recommend each invoice is reviewed before generation, so have not currently included a bulk generation option.
Q If I mark the invoice as paid in Xero/MYOB will it update SuperCRM in Sporty to reflect this?
A No. You will need to manually receipt the amount in SuperCRM to show the invoice has been paid. Please note that if you are generating invoices in Xero/MYOB via the Online Registrations area, for example for a holiday programme form, if the invoice is marked as paid in Xero/MYOB it will update in Sporty. It is only when generating invoices via SuperCRM that paid invoices are not updated.
