Sometimes a draw needs to be created offline, or must replicate an inherited or historical format, rather than following the automated SKED draw-generation algorithm. A blank draw can be created with a single round or multiple rounds. Alternatively, use an imported Matrix of a draw - refer to the support article Matrix Draws.
1. Click the settings cog to open the Phase Settings Modal.
2. Check on Draw Type for the relevant grade and select Blank.
3. Click Save.
You do not need to set dates for a manually created draw in the Phase Settings modal.
4. Dates for blank draws are added after you click Add Draw inside the relevant section for that grade.
Each date selected will create a round with a single Bye v Bye fixture.
5. Modify the teams playing in the fixture by selecting the drop-down, then modify the fixture time and venue.
6. Click the + icon to add additional fixtures, creating a full round in which all teams play.
Note: Clash validation to ensure all teams are playing once in each round will not be performed on blank draws.
