TeamBuilder is mainly used as an easy and highly visual way to create teams against grades. You then can drag and drop registered players into those teams. TeamBuilder can also be used to allocate Coaches, Managers and other roles to teams.
1. The starting point is for the Coach or Manager to be registered with your Club or School.
If Sporty has enabled an official registration form for these roles (or for other non-playing members), you can use that form to register these people. People can register themselves to your form or you can add their details on their behalf (if doing so complies with the rules of your governing body). These people will then be listed in a separate tab in TeamBuilder.
Netball/Softball
All players and non-players register to the official Netball Registration form. When completing the registration form, the Role must be selected.
Football
All non-playing members register to the official Football NZ Non-playing members form.
Rugby League
All Coaches/Managers/Volunteers must register to the official Coach/Manager/Volunteer Registration form.
Once people are registered through the online forms relating to these databases, they will appear within these tabs in TeamBuilder to be moved into teams in the same way as players.
2. Drag and drop the non-playing members into teams as you would players.
3. You can make a person a Manager or Coach by first clicking the blue + beside their name under Roles.
Select Manager/Coach from the options listed.

Note: A Coach, Manager or Volunteer can be added to more than one team. When a person is added to more than one team, they will appear in the TeamBuilder list multiple times - once for each team, and their name will appear in italics.
