Q: How can I make a Photo Gallery appear in my Mobile App?
A: A Gallery icon will automatically appear in your Mobile App if you display the Gallery page in your website on the Sporty platform. Your website Gallery page allows you to show or hide folders from your website image repository. Any Gallery folders that are set to display publicly on your website will automatically appear via the Gallery icon in your Mobile App.
Q: Registration forms are appearing in the App and I do not want these to be visible.
A: When you create a new online form it is automatically set to be visible in your Mobile App. If you do not want a form to be visible go into Online Registrations, edit the form (by clicking on the pencil icon), click the orange Advanced options button, untick the checkbox Visible in mobile app then Save. The online form will no longer be visible via your Mobile App.
Q: Can I have an icon from my Mobile App that links directly to my YouTube Channel?
A: If you have a Customised App from Sporty, we can set your App to display an icon that links directly to your YouTube Channel. However, since YouTube Channels allow unfiltered access to all of YouTube where content with mature or suggestive themes can be accessed, your Mobile App must be rated 17+ or it will be rejected by the App Store in accordance with Apple policies. If you prefer that your Mobile App is not rated 17+ in the App Store, then we cannot set your App to link directly to YouTube.
