The New Zealand Football RSTPs lay down the binding rules for football in New Zealand concerning the status of Players, their eligibility to participate in Organised Football, and their transfer between Clubs.
Players can only be registered as an active player to one Football Club at a time with an Official Football or Futsal registration. Alternative registrations are available for dispensated players or competitions that allow a player to register for an additional club or competition without invoking the active club rules eg: Eligibility Player, School Player or Saturday League Registrations.
At the end of the Football or Futsal season, the Official Football or Futsal registration for Amateur players is automatically terminated, and the player becomes available to register with another club. However, if a player has not returned gear or paid thier membership fees, you can assign a Red Flag against the player to prevent the player from being registered to another club until the gear is returned or balance settled.
When you complete this action, the player is emailed an automatic notification to advise the reason a red flag has been applied to thier account.

What happens when a Red Flag is Invoked?

The Club Administrator can then request player termination from the club that red-flagged the player.
