Facebook offers an analytical tool called the Meta Pixel which allows you to track people's actions on your website. This works by adding a the Meta Pixel in your website, and when an action is taken on your site, this information is sent back to Meta.
To use Meta Pixels, you need a Facebook account and you need to be using Facebook ads.
To set up a Meta Pixel:
1. Go to Facebook and follow the instructions to set up the Meta Pixel in Events Manager
2. Once your Pixel has been created, copy your Pixel ID
3. Go to your Sporty site and login
4. Navigate to Site Settings and click SEO & Analytics under the Browser Settings section
5. Paste your Pixel ID into the box and click Save
6. Return to your Facebook Events Manager page, and refresh the page if necessary. The Pixel will be activated, and you can start analysing activity.
