Sporty provides a utility called TeamBuilder for clubs and schools to enter teams into sports competitions.
Competition organisers are able to use Sporty to set up a competition and make it available in TeamBuilder for their affiliated clubs and schools to enter teams. Clubs/schools simply login to their own site on the Sporty platform and open their own TeamBuilder utility. There you will see all competitions available for you to enter teams or people into. If you're unable to see a competition that you expect, check with your competition organiser.

Entering a Team into a competition
- Go to the site for your Club/School on the Sporty platform. If you’re unsure, you can search for it here (then bookmark it in your browser to make it faster to return again later).
- Click Admin Login from the bottom of the page and login. If you don't have a login, click the link at the bottom of the login screen, "No account? Register here" (click here for more support regarding logging in).
- Once you've logged into the site for your Club/School, click the Dashboard link at the top left of the page, then click the TeamBuilder tile.
4. This displays a list of competitions available for your Club/School to enter, organised by year and sport. These appear automatically whenever a competition manager opens a competition for your club/school. Click the name of the competition you want to enter.
5. This opens TeamBuilder for your selected competition. On the left you will see all of your registered people. On the right you’ll see Grades within the Competition (see image below).
6. Click a Grade on the right to expand it. To enter a Team into that Grade click the blue +Add Team link at the bottom of the grade.
7. This opens the Team entry form. Enter the details for your team. Note that you do NOT need to include the name of your Club/School name into the name of your Team - the system knows this automatically.
8. Click the green Submit button. Your team has now been entered into the competition and you should receive an email confirming your team entry.
Editing a Team
You are still able to edit your team details and add people to your team up until the cut-off dates displayed. To edit your team details, click the team name on the right of your TeamBuilder view to open that team. From here, you can:
Add or edit team members
Contact your team members
Export your team
View the squad sheet
View minimum and maximum role requirements
Send a registration link for people to add themselves to this team (Note: The COPY LINK feature may not be available for all competitions. If you’re unsure, check with your competition organiser.)
The functionality above is also available on mobile phones. Click the blue hamburger menu to view additional team options.
After making changes, click Save or Submit to finalise them.
Deleting a Team
You are able to delete a team up until the Team Entry cut-off date. After this date the delete team icon will be greyed out and disabled. You will be required to contact your competition organiser who can delete the team on your behalf.
