What Shows on the Licences Tab
The Licences tab lists every application you've made, along with its status, grade, and expiry date.
If your Licence Number is incorrect, contact MSNZ — they can update it for you by opening your registration and modifying the Licence Number.
Applying for a New Licence, Authority Card, or Club Membership
1. Click Add Licence/Authority Card/Club Membership.
2. Select the licence, card, or membership you want to apply for.
3. Your personal details will auto-complete from your profile. Anything you update on the application form will also update your profile.
4. Submit the application.
Once submitted, your application is reviewed by MSNZ or your club, who will approve or decline it. You'll receive an email once it's approved.
Renewing, Upgrading, or Downgrading
Renewing
Click Renew to copy your previous application. Update any relevant information and click Submit — grade and position fields cannot be changed when renewing.
Renewing can only be done within 1 month of your licence's expiry date.
Upgrading or Downgrading
For an MSNZ Competition Licence, use the Upgrade or Downgrade buttons to change your grade based on where you sit in the grading hierarchy. Update any other relevant information and click Submit.
After submission, upgrade, downgrade, and renewal applications are all sent to MSNZ or your club for review.
When These Options Are Available
- Renew, Upgrade, and Downgrade only appear if your existing application has been approved and is not more than 2 years past its expiry date.
- These options are only available on your most recent licence.
- The Expiry Date and Renew button don't appear on the Licences tab for medical forms.
Requesting Priority Processing
On the application form, set the Priority Application field to Yes if you need a faster turnaround. This adds an additional 50% processing fee.
