A valid MotorSport Club Membership is required to race in an event or to apply for an MSNZ Competition Licence. You can complete this application from your profile. You can join as many clubs as you like, but you must hold at least one club membership to race in an event.
Depending on the club, this form will be the club's main membership form, or a declaration to MSNZ that you are a club affiliate.
Add a New Licence
- Click the "Add Licence/Authority Card/Club Membership" button on your profile.
- Select the MotorSport Club Membership form and the club you want to join.
- Click Add.
The club's specific membership form will then display for you to complete.
Completing the Form
All of your personal details from your profile will auto-complete the application form.
Complete all other fields and check any terms and conditions, then click Submit. If the club's form charges fees, a payment cart will appear for you to pay them. The club will then review your membership and decide whether to approve or decline it.
More Details of the Licencing Process
New and Renew
- A new membership can be applied for at any time.
- You can renew a membership if the previous one is not older than 24 months. Renewing will copy all fields from the original membership.
Application Status
- Approved - the club has reviewed the membership and all conditions are satisfied.
- Declined - the club has reviewed and declined the application.
Expiry Date
- An expiry date is not required if the Life Member checkbox is ticked.
- Otherwise, the expiry date is set manually, either by the club or by you.
