This feature is currently available for the sports of Touch and Volleyball. Please contact support@sportsground.com if you wish to have this feature enabled for your sport.
For sports that assign position numbers to players, there is the option to assign a player/jersey/uniform number to a player. This number will appear against the players record in TeamBuilder (shown below) as well as being displayed beside the player in the Live Scoring App (also shown below) and in TeamBuilder reports; Team Members and Squadsheet.
The Player/Jersey/Uniform Number field is a conditional field and is only displayed when a person is registering with the role of Player. Currently, Player Numbers are only available for the sport of Touch and Volleyball.
If this field is set to be public, the player can add a number to the 'Player Number' field themselves when completing the registration form otherwise, if this field is set to Admin Only it will only be visible to the admin and only the admin can add this information.

Display in TeamBuilder
The Player Number field is displayed in the team in TeamBuilder.
The Player Number field may be set to be Admin Only i.e. not visible to the player when they complete their registration. Only the admin can then edit the players registration record to update this field.
Click the Edit Pencil to update the player registration record.
Add or update the Player Number field, then click Submit.
The player/jersey/uniform number field will be visible in a team export and team sheet export (if enabled).
Display in the Scoring App
If using the MyTouch Manager Live Scoring App, the player number is automatically displayed beside the player in the app.
Note: For certain Touch NZ tournaments the player number cannot be changed within the MyTouch Manager Live Scoring App. Please check with your competition organiser if unsure of these requirements.
For Competition Organisers
There is a grade setting that can be enabled to prevent the assigned player/jersey/uniform number from being modified in the Scoring App.
This is useful for specific competitions where a player's number must remain consistent throughout the competition.
The setting is in SKED, under the Advanced Options section of Grade Defaults. It can be set as a default in Organisation Setting, or applied to a specific competition via the Phase Settings for that competition.
If this option is not enabled, the player’s number will still be pulled through to the Scoring App and displayed, but team admins/scorers will have the ability to update it.
