The web view of an online form will display differently if you are logged in as an administrator. If you are wanting to view a form as a member of the public, ensure that you are logged out of your Sporty site, or are viewing the form in either a different browser, or in a private/incognito mode within your current browser.
When you are logged in as an administrator, you will see fields that are set to Admin Only. These are fields not displayed to the public. Please see the below information for examples of this.
Sporty will display a red ribbon across the top of your web form to remind you that you are viewing the form as an administrator.
Other differences between what the public sees, and what an administrator logged into Sporty sees.
- Attendance fields
Pubic view: If there is an attendance field on the online form, the public will simply see a checkbox they can tick to indicate that they want to be in attendance at that event.
Administrator view: the administrator will see an additional checkbox for Attended, which the administrator can tick to indicate that the person attended that event.
- Pay Later Option
Public view: If you have set it so that payments are mandatory upon submission of registration, then the public will only see selected payment options.
Administrator view: the administrator will see a Pay Later option which allows them to bypass the payment. This is for those administrators that may complete the form on behalf of a member.
