If you have Xero or MYOB integration enabled, when a registration happens in Sporty, this will generate an invoice in Xero or MYOB.
You may want to delete the registration record. You have two options for how this deleted registration is handled when an invoice has been raised in Xero or MYOB. This should be set as part of the Xero or MYOB integration process.
To do this click on Dashboard.
Click on the Admin Settings tile.
Click on Connections.
Then go to the Accounting tab.
Under the General Settings section, click on the field Action To Take When Deleting Registrations to bring up the options.
Mark registration as inactive, and take no action in provider
This is the default setting so when you try to delete a registration (that has generated an invoice), it will instead change its status on the form database to inactive and no changes will be made in Xero or MYOB.
In the example below, the registrant has paid in full online, received and invoice and and has been subsequently deleted. The registration now has the Status Inactive.
Delete registration and void invoice in Xero or MYOB
If you switch to this option, deleting the registration will remove it from your database and void its corresponding invoice in Xero or MYOB, regardless if it's paid or not.
Note: This option could cause a discrepancy between the report from your payment provider and Xero or MYOB once a registration and invoice is removed, due to the transaction still populated in records provided by your payment provider but no record available in Sporty and Xero or MYOB relating to the transaction.
