I am both an Official and an Appointments Manager. How do I see my fixtures?
Click on the My Games option from within the AppointMe screen. This only appears if
you are both an Official and an Appointments Manager.
How can I assign an official from another association to one of my fixtures?
This should be discussed with the officials home association prior to assignment. Once agreed, you can
simply type their name into the Assignment Modal.
What notifications do my officials and appointments managers receive?
Note: All appointments managers will receive all notification emails. To manage these emails, a rule can be set up in outlook so that all AppointMe notification emails are directed to a folder for reviewing. It is important to review these emails regularly.
- Upon registering as an official, they are provided access to set their availability.
- Notification of appointment to fixture, as generated manually by Appointments Manager.
- If an appointment is accepted, it will trigger an email to any other officials who have already
accepted appointment to that fixture.
- If an appointment is declined, it will trigger an email to all of the competition owners Appointments Managers. The status of the appointment will update to Declined with reason for declining visible to Appointments Managers.
- If a fixture has changed in SKED (or a manually created fixture is changed), and there are
already notified officials, a new notification will be sent to the official that states the fixture
has been changed and to please accept/decline this fixture. The email will also be sent to the Appointments Managers with permissions at the competition owners AppointMe. The email will specify which officials had been appointed and notified for the edited fixture, to allow the Appointments Manager to make changes to appointments as necessary.
- If a fixture has changed due to a change in fixture status (E.g., set to defaulted, postponed,
cancelled) and there are already notified officials, a new notification will be sent to the official that states that the status of the fixture has changed, and the appointment will no longer appear in their View Appointments folder, they will not need to take any action on the email notification. The email will also be sent to Appoinments Managers, specifying which of their officials was involved in the fixture. In the competition owners AppointMe, the appointment will no longer be appointed, and the new status of the game will appear in AppointMe for Appointments Managers to view.
- If a fixture is regenerated in SKED, by removing the draw from the calendar, and there are already notified officials, a new notification will be sent to the official stating they are no longer required and will be re-appointed as necessary. They will no longer appear in the competition owners AppointMe as an official for the fixture once it has been returned to the calendar in SKED.
- If an Appointments Manager deletes an appointment after an official has already been notified (or declines an appointment on behalf of the official), then the system will email the official to notify them that their appointed fixture has been re-assigned and they are no longer required. They will be re-appointed to another fixture if required.
