Add an Image or Video as a Section Background

This article explains how to set an image or video as a section's background. 

First, navigate to the Settings Cog on the left hand side of the section you want to update.

Next, click on the Background Tab.

There are three options for backgrounds, you can:

1. Add a Colour
2. Add an Image
3. Add a Video

Adding a background colour

Select Colour

Click the Choose a Colour drop down to select a colour. If you have added your organisations Custom Colours, these will show up underneath the colour palette.

Select your colour and click Save. 

The colour will now show as the section background.

Adding a background image

Select Image

Choose an image already uploaded into your site's Images area, click Upload an Image to upload a new image, or click Get free stock images to select from the stock image library.

Click Save. 

The image will now show as the section background.

For your section's new colour or image background, select whether you would like the parallax effect applied or for the background to be full width by ticking on the Parallax effect and/or Full width background checkbox.
