Sporty is designed to streamline the registration process by intelligently matching new registrations with existing profiles in your Sporty database.
Pre-filled Registration Forms:
If individuals complete a registration form through a magic link provided (such as an invitation to register or re-register), their personal details will automatically populate the registration form.
Should they decide to update their email address during this process, the email address associated with their person profile in SuperCRM will be updated accordingly.
Blank Form Registrations:
In cases where individuals complete a blank registration form either displayed on your website or through a link to a blank form provided on your website or social media, Sporty can still match them with existing profiles in your database. However, if they enter a different email address from what we have on record, we require confirmation to update their person profile email address in SuperCRM.
For example, Norm Allbloke's person email in SuperCRM is normallbloke@sporty.co.nz. Norm completes a blank registration form with the email address normsnewemail@email.com. Two things will occur:
i) Upon submitting the registration form, a message will be displayed prompting Norm to confirm any changes made to their email address.
ii) An email will also be sent to Norm's current profile email address normallbloke@sporty.co.nz, requesting confirmation for the update. To confirm the changes, click the link in this email and email address in SuperCRM will be updated accordingly.
If individuals do not verify the change to their email address, the existing email address listed on their person profile will remain unchanged in SuperCRM and their registration record will reflect the new email address they entered during registration.
If a person is unable to access their old email account, they can contact the Club/School administrator to request the email address is updated manually by editing the person in SuperCRM or by contacting support@sportsground.com
