Q: What if I want to alter the invoice in MYOB?
A: You can modify or even delete open invoices in MYOB however you want. Any changes you make in MYOB reside within MYOB only and will not reflect in your Sporty database associated with that form, except if you were to add a payment (see this section).
Q: What if I want to add or delete the products on a registration?
A: If a registrants invoice is in the open state in MYOB, the changes that you make to the products on the form will reflect on the original invoice. However, if the status of the invoice is closed (Paid), a new invoice will be raised with the modifications, with an incremental invoice number. If the changes resulted in a reduction of total payable, a credit note will be raised on the contacts MYOB account.
Q: How do I disconnect from MYOB?
Go to your organisation dashboard by clicking Dashboard at the top left of the page, then click the Admin Settings tile. Click Connections then the Accounting tab. Click Disconnect from MYOB.
Q: What happens if a person makes payment before I set up my MYOB Integration? Will an invoice now be generated?
A: Invoices will only be generated for transactions that occur after you have connected your Sporty site to MYOB. Any registrations that you received prior to connecting Sporty and MYOB will need to be manually generated in MYOB.
Q: A person has registered, but no invoice has been created in MYOB?
A: Ensure that your form is set to automatically create invoices upon registration. To check that your form has been setup correctly, go to the editing view of your form by going to the Dashboard > Online Registrations. Then click on the edit pencil beside the form.
Scroll down to the products section, open the MYOB Settings modal and check that Automatically create invoices is ticked on.
On the user’s end, if they have not selected a product after submitting their registration form, an invoice will not be created in MYOB.
You can check to see which registrants have selected products by viewing or exporting your database from Sporty.
People that have selected products will display a value in each respective product column.

Q: Why was my registrant not allocated their MYOB Credit when they registered?
A: Credits are associated with the MYOB account holder. Invoices are created in MYOB under the registrant’s name, unless you have made modifications in your MYOB Contacts form setup that will raise the invoice in another person’s name (i.e., Parent/Caregiver name) or an organisation name (i.e., Team Entry Form). When a person registers, or updates their registration, Sporty will perform a match against the MYOB Contact that the new invoice will be raised against to determine if any credits or overpayments exist on the account. If credits are not identified, this is likely because the contact associated with the credit is different to the person completing the registration.
Q: How will I know when a registration has been updated/a new invoice created or credit note created?
A: In the Advanced Form Settings, you can choose to receive an email copy of registration confirmation when registration updated. The subject of the email will contain the subject Form Updated, and the email will contain the new product details. The existing invoice will be updated, and if products had been modified during the registrations change, a new invoice will be either generated or a credit note will be raised.
Q: What if I don’t want people to be able to edit their registration?
A: In your Advanced Form Settings, you can choose to deselect allow registrant edit. When this is de-selected, the person will receive a confirmation email upon registration, but will not receive a link in the confirmation email which allows them to edit the registration.
Q: I need help with something else.
A: Please contact support@sportsground.com and we’ll see if we can help.
