The Sporty platform makes it easy to send professional Emails & eNewsletters to your community. Once you have created and distributed your eNewsletter, you can review useful statistics that help you understand how well your communications are working. This lets you see who received your emails, track delivery, and learn more about your subscribers’ engagement with your news.
Accessing Your Send History
- Log in to your Sporty site as an administrator.
- Click the eNewsletter tile from your Dashboard.
- Click Send History at the top of the eNewsletter editor.
- The Send History window appears, showing all eNewsletters sent in your selected date range
This will open a window displaying all eNewsletters you have sent in the past 30 days. You will be able to see the following information for each eNewsletter.
- The time and date the eNewsletter was generated to be sent
- The Subject of the eNewsletter
- What user sent the eNewsletter
- How many emails were recipients of the eNewsletter.
Note: If the eNewsletter could not be sent (for example, the total intended recipients exceeded your fair use limit), the "Recipients" column will display "N/A". eNewsletters sent prior to this feature being enabled in July 2022 may also show N/A recipients.
You can modify the date range filters as required to view older historical eNewsletters.
Tracking Statistics on the eNewsletter Landing Page
eNewsletter tracking statistics are now displayed directly on the eNewsletter landing page - so you can see performance at a glance without needing to open the Send History modal.
When you navigate to News & eNewsletters area, the Recent list at the bottom of the page now shows the four stat columns alongside each eNewsletter:
- Recipients - the total number of email addresses the eNewsletter was sent to
- Undelivered - the number of emails that could not be delivered
- Opened - the number of recipients who opened the email
- Clicked - the number of recipients who clicked a link within the email
The example below shows how the Recent list on the landing page looks with tracking statistics displayed:
Note: eNewsletters that are in a draft state, or have been scheduled but not yet sent, will display 0 across all four stat columns. Once the eNewsletter has been sent, live figures will appear.
Note: Open and click rates are only captured up to one month after the email or eNewsletter has been sent. We explain why here.
