Once results have been entered, they can automatically update the standings. The team with the highest total of points is displayed at the top of the table, and the team with the lowest total of points is displayed at the bottom of the table.
Bonus and Penalty Points display as separate columns when a points template is used that automatically assigns bonus or penalty points on the basis of fixture results. (E.g.: if a team receives a bonus point for scoring over 4 tries, or if a team is penalised for defaulting). Manual Adjustments will appear in a separate column (Adjust).
The standings table will also provide a count of Bye Games and Defaults (Loss by virtue of default) per team. Note that Loss by default are also counted as a loss in the standings table.
Note: Due to space restrictions, the count of Bye Games and Loss by Defaults columns will not be presented on mobile.
Points templates
Common points templates have been created in SKED™. You can select whichever points template is suitable for your standings tables on a grade by grade basis. Your default points templates are set as part of your Grade Defaults (refer to the Grade Defaults section of your Organisation Settings).
IMPORTANT: When a points template is changed mid-way through a draw, the new template will be applied to all fixtures including games that have already been played.
The points templates currently available for use in use in SKED™ can be viewed by navigating to Organisation Settings > Grade Defaults > Points template. If you require a different template please contact Sportsground.
