The Subscribe Widget lets you create an input box for people to enter an email address, allowing them to subscribe to receive eNewsletters or Notices from your site. It looks like this, where you can rename the text from the default "Enter email address" and also rename the "Subscribe" button if you wish. You can also control the colour and style of the input box and the button.
To get started, click +ADD CONTENT.
Select the Subscribe Widget from the widget menu.
Here you can customise the look of the widget by styling the Email input field and the Submit button. Click into each tab to apply your preferred settings.
Once you have styled the widget click Save.
Where are the email address stored and how can they be used?
When a person enters their email address to subscribe, their email is stored as a subscriber in the Notices (with opt-in emails) widget. To view and manage people who have subscribed to the Subscribe Widget, first add the Notices widget to a page (this page can be hidden).
Then click on the Settings Cog in the top right hand corner of the Notices widget.
This displays the email address of people who have subscribed.
To send an eNewsletter to subscribers, first create the eNewsletter (see this support article). Then, in the Select Recipients window, tick the box under 'Subscribers (Notices Widget / Subscribe Widget)' to send an eNewsletter to everyone who has subscribed via the Subscribe Widget.
