An Appointments Officer can accept or decline an appointment on behalf of the official by setting the status as required.
Click the Pending status next to the officials name to open the Acceptance Status Modal.
When accepting an appointment for an official, a notification will need to be sent from within AppointMe to allow the appointment to be visible in the officials 'View Appointments' area. They will receive an email notification containing the options to Accept or Decline the appointment, but no action can be taken from this email as it already has an accepted status. When navigating to their AppointMe they will be able to view the appointment.
When declining an appointment, you can record that the official declined the appointment and set official as unavailable for day.
If an official is being removed from a fixture by the Appointments Officer at the request of the
official, then the Appointments Officer can ‘decline’ the fixture on behalf of the official (instead of
simply deleting the appointment).
Note: If you delete or decline an appointment after an official has already been notified, then the
system will email the official to notify them.
It is also important to note that if an Appointment is accepted on behalf of an official, they will not be able to view the appointment in AppointMe, or receive notifications about changes to the fixture until they have been notified of the appointment.
