If a referee is being removed from a fixture by the Appointments Officer at the request of the
referee, then the Appointments Officer can ‘decline’ the fixture on behalf of the referee (instead of
simply deleting the appointment).
Click the Pending status next to the referee name to open the Acceptance Status Modal. You can
record that the referee declined the appointment and set ref as unavailable for day.
Note: If you delete or decline an appointment after a referee has already been notified, then the
system will email the referee to notify them.
It is also important to note that if an Appointment is accepted on behalf of a referee, they will not be able to view the appointment in Appointme, or receive notifications about changes to the fixture until they have been notified of the appointment. See: Notifying Referees of Appointments
