Adding HTML to your site for tracking (Google Tag Manager)

You may want to add snippets of code to the head or footer HTML of your pages for tracking purposes like Google Tag Manager. Sporty can insert code within the head section and/or directly before the closing body tag of your site.

To enable this, first contact support@sportsground.com to advise what you are trying to achieve by inserting HTML on your site eg: "We want to use Google Tag Manager to track click events".

A member of our support team will be in touch with you to discuss this request, and will enable this feature for your site. When you have been advised this is enabled, login to your Sporty Website and click Site Settings, then select SEO & Analytics.

You can now add desired content into the HTML for Head Section and HTML for Body Section input boxes, then click Save.

If using Google Tag Manager, you can then download this Chrome extension to check your tags are working based on the triggers you have configured.
